What To Know Before Your Tan

  • For optimal results, exfoliate your skin, shave or wax before your visit, and avoid using lotions, oils, or perfumes on the day of your tan. If there is any residual tan on your skin, our exfoliating glove, available online or in the lounge vending machine, will help remove it.

  • Yes, but avoid using shaving cream as it may contain lanolin, which can interfere with your tan's development. Shaving with soap and water is fine, and we recommend doing so 24-48 hours before your session.

  • It’s best to schedule waxing or laser treatments at least 1 to 2 days before your spray tan to avoid the solution settling into freshly opened pores.

  • We advise against applying moisturiser, deodorant, perfume, or makeup on the day of your tanning appointment to ensure the best results. We will provide you with the recommended barrier cream to use prior to your session.

  • Ideally nothing! Your suite is completely private, so nude tanning is an option for everyone, but there are g strings available in the brass bins if you prefer a more natural tan line.

What To Know After Your Tan

  • Our tanning solutions are designed to be ‘ready to wear’ with no transfer.

  • Ensure that you rinse your hands within 10 mins of your tan application, and then we recommend waiting 1-3 hours for express tans and 4-6 hours or overnight for other shades before showering, to allow the tan to fully develop. 

  • Avoid getting wet or sweating until your initial rinse. When rinsing, use lukewarm water and no soap, as your tan will continue to develop for 24 hours post-application. Always pat your skin dry rather than rubbing it.

    For the best results, consider using our tan-extending product available within the vending machine, or for purchase on our online store.

  • Daily moisturising and staying hydrated are key to prolonging your tan. Short showers and avoiding bar soaps or cream-based washes will help maintain your glow. Avoid long baths, spas, and swimming in chlorinated water, as these can cause the tan to fade.

  • A spray tan typically lasts between 7 to 10 days, depending on skin type, preparation, and aftercare.

Is the spray tan safe for sensitive skin?

Yes, our tanning solution is specially formulated for sensitive skin. It is 100% natural, organic, odourless, non-comedogenic, and free from SLS, parabens, and petrochemicals.

Are there cameras or security in the lounge?

While we have security cameras in public areas to ensure your safety, our private tanning rooms are completely camera-free. Our lounges are well-lit, with secure door-to-door parking, and staff on the other end of the phone should you need assistance at any point.

I’m under 18, can I visit?

Yes, we cater for guests from 16 and up.

How long does the tanning process take?

The actual spray tanning process takes less than 4 minutes, leaving you glowing in no time. Our Ultra Pro Clear solution develops a beautiful sunless colour in approx 6-8 hours.

Is spray tanning safe?

Absolutely. Spray tanning is a much safer alternative to sunbathing, helping you avoid harmful UV exposure. Our advanced tanning booths are well-ventilated, and our natural ingredients eliminate any unpleasant odours often associated with traditional spray tans.

Can pregnant or breastfeeding mothers have a spray tan?

Absolutely. Our products are 100% natural, and we offer specialised nipple covers for breastfeeding mothers to ensure complete comfort during your session, upon request. Simply reach out before your visit so that we can arrange for nipple covers to be ready in your suite for your arrival.

How long should I wait after lash extensions to spray tan?

We advise waiting at least 24-48 hours after lash extensions to allow proper bonding, though it’s best to consult your lash technician.
